Decorative,
Stamped and Residential Concrete
With
the accuracy and quality Lehigh furnishes in the commercial
arena, it takes only a little imagination to understand what
finished value we can bring to the Residential home. We offer
both original and rehab installations of Residential drives and
walks.
When quality counts, we want to be your concrete contractor for
drives and walkways. We offer many looks and finishes with
color and/or texture being choices.
We
can stamp original concrete or add a 3/8” overlay over existing
concrete, to make it look just like stone, brick, cobblestone or
tile. We can do this with patios, driveways, walkways,
garage floors,
basements, or even certain decks.
If
your existing driveway is cracked or sunken, it may take
replacement with new concrete. This will involve removing the
original concrete and pouring new. The choices is now: which
finish do you choose?
We can
come by your house for an estimate, or you can measure the
length and width of your drive and give us a call. We can come
very close to your actual cost by knowing the square footage of
your existing driveway.
Is
your driveway only slightly cracked?
We can stencil a brick pattern across the entrance, and apply a
resurface coat over all areas of your drive to make it look like
new – normally about 45% of the cost of a new drive.
Our residential division has done
work for well known national residential builders, in Tennessee
and Georgia. We offer that same expertise for your
consideration in your next job. We spend as much time in
preparation as others do in pouring. There is a uniform pour
throughout your slab; not 2” in one spot and 5” in another. Our
saw cuts and expansion joints are frequent enough to expect
cracking in the control joints, not the slab. Of course, any
slab can crack, but we produce results which favor the
homeowner.

We have been placing and finishing
concrete that needs accurate and quality placement for over
twenty five years. Our jobs are on time and
precision formed & poured. We obtained our
accuracy by pouring the first Concrete Tennis Courts in the
state during the early 1980’s. The accuracy demanded there
is exact and critical. ALL of those post-tension courts
are still in use today. We have extensive experience with
monolithic footing & slabs; post-tension; anchor bolt placement;
column footings; and extremely heavy equipment footings that
contain short walls with varying slabs heights. We also do
a great job with pea-gravel and stamped concrete finishes, both
commercial and residential.
We are competitive with that
smaller group of concrete contractors doing especially accurate
work with a quality job as the finished product, but we are most
anxious to distance ourselves from those out to provide only the
cheapest price per square foot. We would like to be your
concrete contractor on projects you might have at present, but
our goal is not to do just your next job, but to form a
relationship in which you can count on our quality and expertise
and we can count on earning a continuing commitment for the
majority of your work. Our goal is building long term
relationships. If we can form a bond of mutual respect we
will travel the southeast to make sure our quality follows your
needs.
We pour all of the Aarons Rents
store slabs in the southeast. We have just finished a
complex job for Weyerhaeuser in Lithonia under the guidance of
the Lathrop Company. Thomas Concrete recommends us for
many complex jobs where GC’s need accuracy. Only recently,
the last part of our slab was saw cut and the cutting contractor
remarked that in his 17 years of saw-cutting he had never seen a
better slab.
